Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome
Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome is the clinical presentation of Wernicke's encephalopathy: confusion, truncal ataxia, and nystagmus plus the Korsakoff syndrome: amnesia, confabulation (an unconscious falsification of experience to fill in memory gaps), and impaired learning.
