telophase
The last stage of mitosis, following anaphase. The two sets of chromosomes have finished moving to opposite ends of the cell and begin to decondense. Nuclear membranes reform around each set of chromosomes. The stage ends when two complete nuclei have been formed. Cytokinesis begins shortly after the end of telophase (and mitosis).
